"WELCOME HOME"
Our Location
The Living-Change programs take place at our host location at 12,305 ft high in the stunning Cordillera Blanca of the Peruvian Andes. With the backdrop of white-peaked mountains, we are nestled up against the border of Huascaran National Park. We are in a very remote area: One hour by foot from the nearest Quechua village of Llupa, or a one hour drive from the city of Huaraz. The road near us only sees a few cars a day, and the main people who wander by are local Quechua farmers who graze their animals on the high grassy plains.
The Living-Change host location is Ka’Way Monti School for Sustainability; primarily a laboratory playground for sustainable living, as well as doubling up as a hostel for trekkers (The Hof Hostel). Ka'Way Monti School for Sustainability aims to co-create a conscious intentional community, where together we learn and experiment with forms of sustainable living. Through Ka'Way Monti School for Sustainability we have hosted various permaculture and natural building classes with a diverse international student-base over the past few years since its creation in 2012.
